My health concerns continue, but I am thankful daily that my bloodwork and other markers are improving.
In November, my specialist reviewed my labs and made recommendations for supplements to improve my status. They are working! My bloodwork and daily test results conclusively show substantial betterment. Another long-term issue has again become active, and I am beseeching God for wisdom about what has sparked the latest episodes.
Finding my specialist highlights God’s continuing provision for me. My primary care provider in Houston had specific personal knowledge that helped me put a problem in remission. Lessons from him continue to enrich my understanding of how to care for one disease. My new providers in my area both have personal experience with ongoing health issues; their understanding of the gravity and effects of autoimmune diseases encourage me to hope their partnership is God’s plan for my healing.
Many years ago, I committed to giving the Lord God Almighty all the glory for the good gifts in my life. The deep knowledge that only God is good sparks the desire to demonstrate that He provides all I need. In addition, my choice is to daily rejoice and give thanks for our relationship, based on His love and provision of the sacrifice that saved me from my choices. His ways and thoughts are superior to mine, and I am grateful for the access to His wisdom that comes from knowing Him.
So today, I choose joy, continually offering from my heart and lips praise and thanks to His name. He came as a baby, giving His life on the cross to redeem us, once for all who accept the gift of forgiveness. Are you basking in the joy of forgiveness today?
