My faithful God is leading me further down the road He has for my life. I’ve been writing about the stirring in my spirit that’s been going on for a long time. That stirring is producing tangible fruit that I see as a blessing.
I am going to move. My home, while small and a great blessing, has become more than I can manage on my own. I’ve realized the stress over all that it needs is a greater burden than I can handle. The real estate market here potentially offers a great blessing as I release the gift God gave many years ago.
The question now is, where I am going?
I’m being very specific about my requests for a new place. I need peace and quiet to sleep and to work in medical transcription from home. Safety is also a concern both personal and for my vehicle. I would like to move only once; but the backlog for some communities may require a two-step process.
My heart wonders if I would like to live closer to a family member. My siblings are stretched out from Florida to Alaska. Heat and deep winter are not my favorite. Other family members may be moving as well over the next few years and the uncertainty of their locations makes planning more speculative than certain.
My trust in God’s ability to take my hand as He’s promised, especially in these uncertain times, is still developing. I look forward to His plan for this season as well as the one of rest and healing that has been ongoing since 2018.
