Today is an update for you all about my healing. Prayer service was wonderful – intimate and engaging. We got to pray with Ms. Dodie Osteen for people as she went through the group. I love agreeing with believers for healing for others. I believe I was healed – she spoke normality to my immune system, a state I have not had for many years. She also noticed a problem I have that can be irritating if I allow myself to think about it and prayed for restoration of my hair as well. Ms. Dodie’s testimony is available in book form. The goodness of God in the land of the living will be evident in my life. I am moving forward with a job opportunity brought to me, trusting that the door will stay open only if it is what God has planned.
Peg, thanks so much for the update! I’m rejoicing with you in what God is doing. His healing power is so wonderful. I remember during my high school days, in the early Lakewood days, Dodie Osteen prayed over me, as well as her late husband, John. What wonderful servants of the Lord.
Ms. Dodie is still mother to the whole church and beyond. Her love for God’s children and friendliness to anyone in need is a wonderful example to me. She reflects what I believe is God’s heart, as do all the Lakewood staff and volunteers. I am so blessed to be there! Happy Easter!
