I joined the Launch Team for Victoria Osteen’s new book available April 2 Exceptional You!: 7 Ways to Live Encouraged, Empowered, and Intentional. I received an advance copy of the book as a Kindle document. Victoria successfully uses biblical and modern-day stories to impart the truth of God’s word. She encourages her readers to seek God for His plans and to align themselves with His purposes for their lives. I especially enjoyed her Exceptional Thoughts at the end of each chapter – I spoke them over myself as prophecy! Just one of these Exceptional Thoughts that encouraged me: “When opportunities come my way, I won’t let my fear of failure or my insecurities or my lack of experience drown out the yes God put in my heart. I will stay connected to Christ, my power source, and walk through the doors of opportunity He opens for me.”
I am really excited that Victoria is offering this book of her experience and wisdom gleaned from her years of knowing God. Her stories from her life and her husband, Joel Osteen, other family members, and Lakewood Church underscore her perspective on the truth of God’s word for us all. A great read!
