Moving forward

Lake Louise from the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise by Peg Parker

I’m moving ahead with a plan. I have surgery scheduled to remove my cataract and replace the lens this week. My vision has become seriously impaired in terms of clarity. Work is more difficult due to eye strain. Driving at night unless I know the area well is concerning.

I am looking forward to returning to who I am – able to go and do whatever God calls me to accomplish in Christ Jesus who strengthens me. This impediment cramps my style and needs to be gone.

A dear friend is taking me to surgery; spending time with her is always a delight no matter the circumstances. My busy schedule robs us of the fun we used to have; hopefully, that will change soon.

God is faithful to provide. I need a more expensive procedure and I know He can make it happen through insurance or what He has given. Reading 2nd Corinthians 9 tells me that cheerful giving, while its own reward, means I will never want and always have enough to give in abundance.

I look forward to the good report I will bring as my vision is restored and I am healed because of Jesus.
